Our trips benefit tremendously from the generosity of many locals who assist us with pre-trip planning and in-country support and company. In South Africa, we owe thanks first and foremost to Niel du Toit, who runs Give and Take Records. Niel spent much of the trip with us in South Africa, helping a great deal with logistics. More importantly, he shared his perspectives as an Afrikaner with the group, giving us insight we would have lacked otherwise.

We were also accompanied by Laetitia Stap and Antoinette Mullerfor for parts of the trip. We really appreciate their contributions to our time in South Africa.

Miriam Fredericks played a critical part in connecting us with the Youngsfield Refugee Camp and partnered with us on the refugee project we coordinated upon returning home. We will always be grateful for the trust she placed in us.

Ilse Posselt of Freedom Park went above and beyond, coordinating an incredible full day of events for us. Her generosity and effort helped start our trip on a fantastic note.

Morgan in Kimberley and Aragorn in Johannesburg set up excellent Flight from Death screenings. Claude Colart provided critical advice and inspiration.

And, of course, we are grateful to all of the people who sat down with us for interviews or led us on tours. Their openness and honesty made this trip a potent and meaningful one for all of us.
