The creative mastermind behind the excellent Apartheid Museum, Emilia Potenza also has a background as an anti-apartheid activist. Unlike many of the other activists with whom we spoke with on this trip, though, she was a young, white student at the height of her resistance efforts, allowing her to speak more directly to the perspectives and positions of our group.
